Concrete Calculation Formula We Use
We base all our concrete volume estimates on the industry-standard formula: Volume (in Cubic Yards) = Length × Width × Thickness (in feet) ÷ 27 For example: A 12 ft × 10 ft patio that’s 4 inches (0.33 ft) thick = 12 × 10 × 0.33 ÷ 27 ≈ 1.47 cubic yards
Typical Thickness Guidelines:
